Since its establishment, it remains the second largest exchange in the world by market capitalization, behind New York Stock Exchange. The main NASDAQ index is the NASDAQ 100 (USA100) that tracks the prices of the largest US stocks listed on the NASDAQ. It consists of the top 100 US companies, ranked by market capitalization.
